Welcome to Year 5 Peake Class!
My name is Mr Adelaide and I teach Year 5 alongside Miss Carr.
I hope that this page will keep parents and carers up to date with all the exciting things that are happening in our year group. I am always happy to speak to parents or carers regarding any questions or concerns they may have, so feel free to see me after school or arrange a face-to-face appointment if ever you do need to discuss a matter.
I am Teaching and Learning Lead at CHPS and continually look at how we can implement current education research in our classes to help all be the best learners they can be. I am part of the English Leadership team as the Reading Lead here at CHPS and passionate about helping children develop their understanding of the world through reading. I am also a Primary Teaching for Mastery specialist in mathematics and love helping pupils build their mathematical knowledge and understanding.
Outside of school, I enjoy climbing/bouldering, cycling, cooking (and eating, of course) and watching the mighty Tottenham Hotspur!
