Cheadle Heath Primary supports various charities each the year.  We usually have one main fundraiser each term and we aim to support one local, one national and one international  charity each year.  In addition, we take a collection at the end of each of our Nativity perfomances, the KS2 Christingle and at the end of the summer production.

Our pupils often request that we support a particular charity and we follow this up where possible.  We explain to parents and to the children why we have chosen a particular charity so that they fully understand the reason behind their fund raising efforts.

Our charity events are always lots of fun and inevitably involve staff and children dressing up and taking part in lots of differemt activities!

In 2013 – 2014 we supported the following charities –

  • St James’ School, Uganda (international link school) by raising money to purchase windows & doors (October 2013)
  • Didsbury based Francis House, raising money for terminally ill children & their families (November 2013)
  • Children In Need (annual event)
